    West side of the street adjacent to the sidewalk; the square yellow access hatch looks like a vehicle drove over it, so it’s half sunken into the mud and tipped at an angle. Marked “GAS”.

    Submitting the report on Monday, April 11, via DTE’s contact form on their website yielded a followup phone call this morning April 13 and an additional email with the reference number for the complaint: 52779972.

    And DTE reports on the outcome today via Twitter, where the complaint was originally filed: “Ground frost movement raised one of our cathodic protection site boxes above grade. Box will be reset. Thanks!”
