    My visit to Knight’s yesterday demonstrated what creatures of habits we are. I walked in, turned to the meat cooler and – aack! Vegetables?!! The clerks said customers have been flipping out since they swapped the location last week. But smart to pull people deeper into the store to seek out what they’re truly there for – who goes to Knight’s for broccoli?

    Yes, a shock for everyone. I bought some lettuce and corn anyhow, to go with my Knight’s ground beef.

    We had to relocate the meat to the other cooler because the old meat cooler is not functioning properly. We have ordered a replacement meat cooler that will be installed in about five weeks. Thank you for your business!

    Thanks for the update, Don – good to know! And by the way, Knight’s chocolate chip cookies provide fuel for much of The Chronicle’s work…so thanks for that, too.
