Power outage after a loud “bang” – perhaps a transformer?

Bang + power outage likely = bad transformer. We recently had that around here on a pole that wasn’t reachable from the street and DTE brought in a little crane on tracks that they maneuvered into a back yard to replace the transformer in like an hour.
Power outage over, back to situation normal.
