Fourth Avenue btw Washington and Huron

I don’t think vertical lamp posts are part of the plan. Looking south, [photo 1] and north [photo 2]. Please join me in starting a rumor that the Fourth Avenue project will also include Ann Arbor’s latest fountain. [photo 3]. It is the most logical explanation, certainly.

    You can’t totally appreciate it from the photo, but there is this tall sort of pipe with what looks like a valve on the top. Right in the middle of the street under construction. You never know, it could be a future fountain!

    Thanks Vivienne. That is exactly what I meant. Large mistake I’m glad you caught! I spent four hours mostly talking while teaching a class and then went for that walk. Apparently I had run out of correct words! Too late to change it now.
