Water about 6-8 inches deep is causing most drivers to proceed with caution. There is no way to find and clear the sewer grates without waders and protection from the splashing cars, and the danger of wading out into the road.     Just heard from someone about a similar situation on N. Seventh – the city unplugged the storm drains there with a front end loader. They must be busy.

    We have been clearing snow away from the storm drains, 2 near our house, and it is heavy work. But it has helped to keep the water flowing so there is not so much standing water
