Due to lack of space, the Friends of the AADL have set out two shelving carts full of FREE used books on the main floor–some by really good authors, e.g., Bruce Chatwin, Barbara Pym; also lots of mysteries by Patricia Cornwell, etc. are available for the taking.

My two daughters, Tegwyn and Kecil, and husband WAP John worked in complete secrecy to purchase and create and cook and serve an orange chocolate drizzle cheesecake to me for my New Year’s Eve Birthday! What a great surprise and a stellar example of teamwork, resourcefulness and creativity! They had never baked any type of cake on their own before, let alone a cheesecake in a springform pan! I have never had a better birthday present! It is delicious! Happy New Year everyone!
