Developer Alex de Parry said at the time that if the PUD for City Place on South Fifth Avenue was turned down by city council, he had a “matter of right” project he could build there, too.  The first public meeting on that will be held on  Feb. 11, 2009 at the Ann Arbor Public Library at the corner of E William Street and S.
