Giant wheel-eating potholes in outside eastbound lane. I know this from personal encounter with said potholes. Car now at dealer.

I hit one today also in the same lane. Thankfully, my car survived but I was surprised! Be careful.
I hope you also called 99H-OLES to report them. In my experience, the city respponds quickly to such reports.
I wasn’t aware of 99H-OLES. I will call them. The AAPD arrived when I was the phone with AAA, wrote up a damaged property report, and stayed there until the tow arrived, so I’m guessing the city knows about this. A second car hit another pothole right around the same time and also had to be towed.

Now, the question is who is the “highway authority” in this case – is that a state trunkline or is that a city street? And does calling 99-HOLES enough notification or should you send a letter or postcard, and if so who to?
