    Dear Linda,

    In the scene playing out in my imagination Ms. Swank purchased exclusively chocolate cupcakes with white icing, and eschewed any other flavors, pointedly rejecting yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting. If you have information wrecking that particular vision, there’s no need to share it. On the other hand, if you could confirm Ms. Swank’s preference for chocolate cupcakes with white icing, it would just about make my day.

    I stopped in at Cake Nouveau today, and Sarah, who waited on Hillary Swank also waited on me. She was VERY excited to know that there was publicity about the bakery – but no one had heard of AA Chronicle – now they do! I did not ask about the what flavors of cupcakesshe bought, but you can stop in and ask, Dave – and buy one, too.
