Valerie Mann – a sculptor, Saline resident and partner with Ann Arbor’s WSG Gallery – is profiled by the Detroit Free Press. On the topic of art education, Mann says: “In art school, nobody ever teaches you how to sell your work. I think it’s really important for people to be able to talk about that work because if they can explain it better and get their customer or collector to understand where they’re coming from and why they do what they do, you have a better story.
