Chelsea Update reports on efforts to save the city’s historic livery building: “During public comments at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting, local businessman Joe Merkel and Ellen Thackery, Southeastern Michigan field representative for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, offered their support to the efforts to rehab the Chelsea Livery building, and asked for a one-year extension to the demolition deadline to come up with an appropriate plan.” [Source]
