An editorial in the Detroit News calls for a halt to the proposed commuter rail between Ann Arbor and Detroit: “The crossing gate ought to go down on a commuter rail line between Detroit and Ann Arbor until backers of the project are sure it will be viable. One thing’s for sure: Scarce state transportation funds shouldn’t be used for it.” [Source]
