Sabra Briere, who along with Sandi Smith represents Ward 1 on city council, has sent around a newsletter to constituents via electronic mail. Highlights include the city budget, Argo Dam and Fuller Road Station. She serves up those topics with a dollop of city history dating from 1991: “I remember when former Third Ward Council member Liz Brater took the Ann Arbor News reporters and others on a bus tour of parking structures to show how they were falling down – concrete was falling on cars, rerod was exposed, and there were holes in the floors.” [Source]
