Well he didn’t hit her back; I was sitting in my cab as usual at the time right on the corner & they were a little ways up S.U. I just watched for about a minute, then the ever-ready police drove up and broke it up.
If it were serious I’d probably call the cops — if someone’s life was in endangered — but after working the “tough streets” of the student ghetto at night for a while, scuffles – no matter the gender of the offender – don’t seem like 911-worthy events.
I suppose my sexist mind would make me act differently if I saw a man hitting a girl, but that’s my own issue…
Who won? Did you sit and watch, did you try to break it up, did you call the police? What would you have done if you saw the reverse?
