The Detroit News reports on Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder’s recent affirmation of his anti-abortion stance, pointing to an opinion piece he wrote on the subject that was published last week in the Grand Rapids Press. Snyder, who’s seeking the GOP nomination for governor, wrote that “As a strong pro-life and pro-family candidate for governor, I am strongly committed to the rights of the unborn.” He also called for Michigan to opt out of abortion coverage mandated by the national health care reform law.
