Main St: Block closed from Liberty to William St. Numerous valets parking cars in open lot on 1st and William–lot closed to others, apparently. Lots of dressed-up folks milling around in front of some of the restaurants. Black-clad young women opening large yellow umbrellas–about to perform? Music starting. Event is fund raising for UM’s Mott’s and Women’s Hospitals.
