    I bicycle instead of driving. It was completely torn up and poorly patched — even in a car it was a rumbleboard. On a bicycle, you were forced to the center of the road to avoid holes / popping a tube.

    Yes, it was rough. Can’t wait to try it out. Really can’t wait till the bottom of Miller is finished! Whew, that was dangerous. I know there was an article here about that a while ago.

    I bicycle in that part of town too, but hadn’t noticed that it was that bad. I was surprised that they resurfaced it, I think there are worse roads elsewhere.

    How did this happen so fast? Miller has been ripped up for months with no end in sight!

    I think some of it may be related to the West Park renovation. There was a lot of activity involved in redoing both storm and sanitary sewers and the road got really torn up. Good result.

    Carol, I had the exact same question. In what looked like 48 hours, they ripped off the top couple inches of pavement and had a new surface on the whole block. Road repair is a mystery to me.

    N. Seventh was just resurfaced. Miller is being reconstructed.
