City of Ann Arbor has installed “No Parking – Construction Zone” signs on both sides of Spring at Hieftje Park/Spring Street Beautification Project, perhaps indicating imminent street repair.

That’s right. They leafleted adjacent houses indicating a full tear-up is immanent.
The reconstruction of Spring Street at Summit is still scheduled for May 23rd.
There is a meeting in the neighborhood tonight, May 17, at 5:30 to make certain the residents know about the construction and the impact that construction will have on their ability to drive through the area (and to their houses).
