The Washington Post reports that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit in Cincinnati became the first appellate court to rule on President Obama’s health care reform, upholding that Congress can require Americans to carry insurance coverage. The lawsuit had been filed by the Ann Arbor-based Thomas More Law Center, which argued that Congress had overstepped its constitutional authority to regulate commerce.
