The photo gallery on Packard Pub’s website includes shots of interior renovation — not crystal clear whether those photos date from work done before opening or reflect the current work.
I wonder what alternate destination people choose who think, “Packard Pub, let’s go there,” and arrive to find it’s closed for renovations. One of the two Burgers, perhaps, Quickie or Blimpy.
Dave – the first photo in that set has a “coming soon” sign; that would indicate that these photos are all from the original renovation, if they were taken all at the same time. The demolition work looks like the old Artisan Bistro decor.
I have speculated that “closed for renovation” is a way to avoid going into default on rent. Hard to say how much their business has fallen off since the bulk of the students have left for the summer.
