UM: Crime

The University of Michigan has issued a crime alert – a female student reported being grabbed while walking down Thompson Street at Kennedy Drive at about 1:50 a.m. on Aug. 18. She broke free and was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male in his late 50s, 5’7″-5’8″, thin build, clean shaven, bald or with very short hair, wearing a green shirt, dark-colored pants, and a white or light-colored baseball cap. Anyone with information should call the UM Dept. of Public Safety at 734-763-1131.
