“3 parking structures re-opened after 3-hour closure
The Ann, Catherine and Glen street parking structures have re-opened as of 11:15 a.m. after being closed this morning.
At approximately 8 a.m., an unknown powdery substance was reported within the stairwells of the Ann Street Parking Structure, the Catherine Street Parking Structure and the Glen Street (NIB) Parking Structure.
DPS and Parking maintenance closed the three structures as a precaution. The University Hazards Materials staff along with the Washtenaw County HazMat team responded and determined that the substance was not a hazardous material.” [link]

WHERE: Catherine Street Carport
WHEN: Tuesday at about 8 a.m.
WHAT: A suspicious powder, later identified as corn starch, was found in multiple parking structures, University Police reported. The three structures were closed temporarily as a precaution.
