This billboard faces Fourth Avenue across the parking lot. It is not related to the current business. Must have a history –what is it? “Comes In All Shot, Goes Out ‘Red Hot’” [photo]

It’s for QLTD, a “strategic design consultancy with a global reach”. Here’s their site: http://qltd.com/
(Addendum for the Chroniclers: the photo link is missing a : after “http”)
Re: [1] busted link. Thanks. Fixed.
Yes, I knew that the building housed QLTD but the billboard didn’t seem congruent with them somehow. No mention of it on the website. The billboard looks to be from an earlier time, in style as well as the costume.
re 3: The billboard is just decoration, went up after Q opened. Just a kewl graphic to attract attention to a design firm, nothing more.
I once did some tech-support work for Q… and as I recall the story, the space had once been a vehicle repair shop or something. Perhaps their little tribute to that history, but also a subtle advertisement for their design/ad services?
Here are links to the origin of the graphic: From the Ann Arbor Observer, Feb 12, 2009 [link] and from QLDT, Feb 26, 2010 [link]
I think it’s from an old dry cleaner or related business.
