    There are some newish, very colorful and cheerful murals (“public art”?) along the walls under the RR bridge near the YMCA on West Washington on both sides of the street.

    Wonder whether this is an aesthetic move or because of the rust visible at the base.

    I had lots of fun (but much anguish) from these. See also the veg racks as “food art”. [link]

    In a clear case of “could you be more dense?”, it was many trips before I realized that the abstract metal bike outside the downtown post office / federal building was a bike rack!
