A car struck a bicyclist near Pioneer High School (7th & Franklin). Car stopped, but the victim was lying in the street.

My heart goes out to this person and I hope the cyclist is okay.
I called the high school and the officer for an update, but heard nothing. I thought being an advocate for safety on Ann Arbor streets via Washtenaw Biking & Walking Coalition might merit an update. Alias, no word on how this happened or if he/she is okay.
Yikes, it should be “alas” not “alias” of course.
