It’s transparency, when it’s publicized in a place where people will see it. It’s not transparency when the only place you could find out about it, is in small type on a long list of AAPS Board of Ed. meetings, buried on a back page of the AAPS web page. In fact, it is not listed on the AAPS Front Page web page where there are 4 other “budget meetings” listed. But I’ll bet that tonight’s meeting is the one that matters.
I found information about the meeting on another local online news source. Tonight’s session involved presentation of budget dilemma(s), discussion and ideas. The presentation will be repeated at the upcoming televised Board meeting, with four community budget meetings to take place in January. No single meeting is the one that matters, so don’t count yourself out.
