A plea on Twitter for spare camera battery led me to Amtrak Station. There I learn I have not mastered the make/model of my camera. In photo 2, Cooper is standing left talking to Tim Fischer, with the Michigan Environmental Council and Heather Seyfarth, with the Clean Energy Coalition, who were part of the group Cooper welcomed. The group was the entourage from the Michigan Transportation Odyssey. They started in Traverse City and are traveling via passenger transportation to Detroit, stopping along the way to honor various local efforts. Ann Arbor is receiving an award acknowledging the bike share program, set to launch in spring 2014.
After arriving in Ann Arbor on Amtrak, they’re catching the AirRide, which is the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority service between downtown Ann Arbor and Detroit Metro airport.
