    The banner is actually welcoming the “bridge workers,” actually the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers. This iron workers’ union is holding their 26th Annual Ironworker Instructor Training Program at Washtenaw Community College, July 13-23.

    Maybe, but the irony of welcoming Bridge & iron workers to someplace besides the one where they actually are needed would be delicious – were this about someone ELSE’S town…
