Finishing touches getting put on the fire hydrants and the firefighter memorial in front of Station No. 1. On Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, the city will host a 9/11 memorial service on that block of Fifth Avenue, starting at 8:30 a.m, lasting around 45 minutes.
