In advance of Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the New York Giants and New England Patriots, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press interviews Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady about how his time on the University of Michigan football team has influenced his NFL career: ”I think I was very fortunate in college to go through some pretty stiff competition. A lot of the lessons that I learned when I was 18, 19 years old have served me well when I was 23 and 24. This game is about competition.
