Can’t the staff go refresh themselves under the new art water fountain in front of the building? Oh right, that doesn’t work either.
I walked the sculpture yesterday and it seemed to be working ok. The rain garden looks good too.
Thanks for doing that, George. Maybe the sculpture just needs to be walked more.
Rod, are you suggesting that it was peeing on itself?
^Heh. I wish I could walk the sculpture, that would be cool. Instead I just walked *by* it.
John Kotarski of the Ann Arbor Art Commission has “a date” soon with a number of visually-impaired students (2 different groups, I think) from the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) for a tactile tour of the Dreiseitl sculpture and other appropriate Ann Arbor art, such as mosaics. The youngsters will have their own personal art experience through touching the art. The Dreiseitl, it turns out, is perfect for that purpose.
