Ann Arbor resident Joe Harris has been named Detroit’s new chief financial officer. He formerly served as Auditor General, and according to a Detroit News article, was “well known for frequently scathing audits of (former mayor Kwame) Kilpatrick’s travel and office spending.” [Source]
