But the number of houses for City Place would be 7, right? Could this be about Near North instead, where I think there’s a couple of houses on the site originally planned to be kept, plus perhaps three more on Summit (for a total of maybe 5) that are now proposed to be removed? Because they’re in the floodway, their removal could be analyzed as a public benefit for the PUD, I think.
Yes, I wondered about the number. I was driving by so didn’t stop to take in more information. Can’t remember why I concluded that the project in question was City Place. Maybe just an unwarranted assumption.
Nope, it’s not Near North–that would demolish eight houses, all on North Main. (The developers tried to get the city to buy some additional property on Summit, but struck out.)
