Power lost for at least 45 minutes today, from Fifth east to State Street, Huron south to Liberty. Probably caused by construction at city hall; hope no one was hurt.

I was at Kellogg Eye Center on Wall Street, well north of Huron. Power went out there too around 1:30, came on as soon as the emergency generators started. They thought it was their own construction that caused it — guess not.
It was off for the same time period on Vesper, in the Sunset Road area.
