    I think they’re extending the W. Liberty bike lanes out towards Wagner, too.

    Pauline now has bike “lane” symbols in the middle of the street, except in front of places like Fritz Park where there is no parking.

    That’s the idea of a sharrow–cars and bikes share it.

    “Shared lane arrow” or something. It’s a pretty inelegant word.

    Actually, I like the sound of it. It’s the message that it sends that concerns me. Any bicyclist riding in the middle of the road over the sharrow is putting themselves and others at risk. The sharrow should be pointing to the side of the road.
