10:25 p.m. Power out at Ward 3 incumbent Stephen Kunselman’s house. Power also currently out at following polling places for tomorrow’s Democratic primary city council elections: Allen Elementary School (3-4, 3-7), Scarlett Middle School (3-6, 3-9) and Pittsfield Elementary School (3-8).     According to DTE, the outage was caused by an overhead line problem. Power is expected to be restored in the next few hours and in any case before 5 a.m. Aug. 2. That would mean that power would be available when polls open at 7 a.m.

    Kunselman has reported in that his power has been restored.

    I wonder what contingency plans the city has in place for power outages at polling places?
