    Wind gust
    Straw hat must take flight
    Into the pond

    Sink, sank, almost sunk

    Slender, black eyed boy
Down hill too fast on a bike

    Wordless
    Shoes and socks off
    Jeans rolled up

    Walks into the cold water
    and muck

    Plucks hat from curious fish
all the while talking on his cell

    “West Park. Off of Seventh.
    Love you.”

    Thank you, George.

Also five squished dried frogs on the walkway.
    Boys stomping? Heedless park truck?

What a nice gift – a story, a poem, an image. Thank you.

Question: can you hear frogs peeping in the West Park area? I miss that.

There is a hearty chorus of toads trilling in West Park now.
